I just got new grill & rear ss emblems. My new grill emblem seems to look much darker than my grill. Doe's any one ever armor all the grill? How can I get it to look new again? It is black

I assume u mean the honey comb grill?
Wash well, and use a small brush to get into the cnrs of the honey combs where polish, dust etc tends to build up
let dry, then mist spray with silicone, then use a rag with silcone on to wipe/smear the silcone evenly.
If very discouloured i may take a couple car washes/silicone to come back up like new.

If the grill is VERY discoloured and chalked off from yrs of sun , it s better to replace rather than messing around preparing and painting.
