I recently purchased a fastener kit for my center console. I have the factory assembly instruction manual but I am having trouble determining which bolt goes where. Does anyone know where I can reference the screw/nut part # from the manual to get some specs on the fasteners?

If your car is a 68 or 69 Camaro, there are 2 Nylon Fasteners that you push into the holes in the Transmission Tunnel. Place your console on top and your bolts will go through the Nylon Fasteners.

My car is a 68 camaro. The 2 nylon inserts are in place. However, the fastener kit I purchased from Classic Industries does not have a bolt that large. I am guessing the bolt is somewhere between a 5/16 and 3/8. The factory manual does not state the size. Only the part # 3858700

yes they are 5/16 i think...rather long also....maybe an 1 1/ 4 inches or soo long?
