I'm new to the St. Louis area and was wondering if anyone knew of any good ground-up restoration shops in the Eastern MO/ Western IL area. I have a 69 Camaro that has all of the sheet metal work done, now I'm just looking for a good specialty shop that specializes in these cars that can do the rest.

I don't know what all you are looking for them to do, or how much you want to spend, but here are a couple contacts.

For a local parts distributer there's Gateway Reproduction in Winfield (about 20 miles north of St. Peters) Jim's a great guy to deal with. His number is 314-566-6666.

For upholstery there's a guy in O'Fallon, MO named Jerry. I'd have to do some searching for his number if you're interested. He's been doing these cars for 30 years.

I hear Cornerstone Auto Body in St. Peters does a very nice job, but the $14,000 they quoted me for a paint job (including one 1/4 panel replacement) was not in my budget. (636) 928-9919
