Is there a book or guide that gives paint info on the inside of the camaro? (Dash, metal trim around interior..etc) Its a satin/flat paint. Also looking for where GM used seam sealer on all the seams.(door skins...etc) Is there such a restoration guide? I have a few books and manuals but they dont go into that kind of detail. I checked the swap meet/ car show this weekend in NJ but came up short on restoration type manuals.. I did a search but didnt find anything refering to a restoration book. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Resto guides I have seen are very general. McNeish's book, gives lots of colors of various parts, but not stuff like you are asking about. I wore out my AIM working on my car, and the Fisher Body book, and Overhaul Manual are also helpful.

Thanks...I ripped out and replaced 95% of my sheetmetal and want to make sure I seam seal everything before this car gets painted. I dont have another 67 to compare it to although I took alot of pics at the car show. Just wanted to see if there was any literature specific to 1st gens. I'm going through my AIM, Fisher and my other books again to see if I missed something.

Hey Bill,
I saw one other 67, a nice blue color. It was toward the middle of the track towards the end of the day. We split at about 4:30 or so. I really didnt get to much time to drool over the cars there. I spent most the day shopping.
Your car looks sweet. Maybe by summer mine will see the road and we can cruise. It all depends if i have my stinkin job or not. Either way I'm gonna find a way to finish my car.
