This paperwork is all stained up and has alot of high end performance options. Looks like it is missing some line items but Im no expert and could very well be wrong. Nice looking Daytona Yellow flat hood Z.

I say nice try but fake. There are 2 options missing from the sheet that every single '69 Z/28 would have. Also, one of the options is incorrectly identified. Nice car though. Love the flat hood look.

The 'Bald Mountain Rd' on the invoice is in Lake Orion, MI although it's listed as Pontiac, MI on the document.

I disagree. The window sticker is real.

Where's the ZJ7 option?

William

Buried in the Z/28 option; they were included. Spoilers also became part of the package later in '69 and will not appear on documentation for those cars.

Special Performance Equipment required extra-cost options that are listed on documentation: 4-speed transmission, power front or 4-wheel discs; later on a tach. Positraction was not required with the standard 3:73.1 axle on Z/28 only.

Since 15x7 Rally wheels were included as part of the Z28 performance option, they would not appear on the window sticker . Conversely, disc brakes were not part of the Z28 option, but were mandatory when ordering Z28, so show up as RPO J52 on the sticker. See William above :)

Why are all of the pictures in the auction in perfect focus except the trim tag photo? That's the photo that everyone really wants to see.

I'm having a hard time with the BIN price, wow is it made of gold?

William is the WS expert. :)

And Lake Orion is right next to Pontiac.

I don't have a problem with the BIN price. I am in the tail end of a restoration on a 69 Z right now. First you have to find a car that is real with real docs .. with those options , pay the money, then restore it . I am sure you could do it for less than 115k but probably not much less unless you are doing the work yourself and stold the car on the buy.
If the widow sticker is real like William says, and the other docs are real... with those options and a M22... only 2500 Camaro's or so in 1969 got that transmission. It will be interesting to see if it sells

Keep in mind that the seller is a used car dealership in Ok. Dealers tend to "shoot for the moon" in their asking prices. A private party would have a more realist BIN.

Expensive it may be but that is one mighty fine restoration: no added Z21, duct hood or spoilers, E70 tires, firewall blackout correctly fogged at the top. Upper ball joints are service bolt-ins; big deal.

Whoever did this car knew what they were doing.

how REFRESHING to see a non style trim flat hood no spoiler real Z28 ...

IF you had one and were to restore it to this level, I think the price is in line with the quality, again IMHO

(aside from the service upper ball joints ...)

M-22 cars are very special, again IMHO, but then I have 2 of them a 71 & 72 M22 car ...

That guy always has some really nice cars advertised. Most always seem to be matching number cars, authenic or not he has some awsome cars for sale ( l-78 camaro, l-78 Chevelle etc...). Check his web site, link is in e-bay ad.

I thought I wrote that! Very common. Tells me they're faking the car. Looks good though.

Is this high end/nothing overlooked restored Z missing its taillight vertical strips or is it not supposed to have them?
