I noticed today that the booster on my 69 is leaking. I can't hear it leaking when the car is running. But with the hood open as soon as you shut the car off it immediately hisses and leaks off.
This is the original booster, can these be taken apart and fixed? If not where is the best place to buy a replacement?

I had mine repaired by Jerry MacNeish. He rebuilds them and replates the outside with the correct finish. I'm sure there are alot of shops out there but this is the way I went.
Here's his link. http://www.z28camaro.com/restosvcs.html

How does the repair and re-plate compare in price to buying a new one?

If your not worried about keeping the original equipment I would just go ahead and get a replacement one. I believe I paid around $140 plus shipping but had to wait awhile to get it back. Quality was great. Here are before and after shots. He only did the booster.
