Just wondering. On a '69 Camaro SS 350 did you have to have power steering to be able to install factory air-conditioning? I think I once saw in the Camaro White book that PS was recommended when ordering AC. Anyone know for sure? Thanks!

Nope - RPO-C60 (A/C) and RPO-N40 (P/S) were seperate options and one was not required to be ordered together.
Could have been 'recommended', but I don't recall ever seeing that in dealer info.
With P/S being such a popular, and lower cost option compared to A/C, I'm sure it is a high percentage option combo - IMHO.

John is right, separate options and both available together. One thing that CRG has yet to figure out is the brass brake valve under the drivers side door on the frame. Some theories I read are that the more stuff was added as options, such as a/c or p/s, the car got heavier and that valve somehow might be related to the weight of
the front of the car, making that valve perform a balancing act of sorts.
I hope CRG finds more info. on all these options as they relate to that valve. :)
