Just finished hanging and adj.sheetmetal,gaps are good?.my problem is when i installed the door weather seal (new soft seal) the door will not close all the way,sticks out 1/2".the door really binds when closing.HELPPPP.

dz302, Did you change any sheet metal parts, like the doors or hinges for instance? The first thing that came to mind was the hinges are too far ahead on the cowl for the door to close with the weatherstrip installed but that's not necessarilly the case. It could also be the back of the door where the lock is located. It sounds like you have a trial and error thing on your hands.

dz, I'm getting ready to put weather stripping on mine too. my body man adjusted my doors so the backs (rear tire end) set in about a quarter inch when closed, he said after i put the stripping on, it'l set the door out and he'l adjust the striker to get the door flush. I hope he knows what he's talking about, just letting you know my situation. maybe it'l help. Zappo

You didn't say what brand but some are thicker/stiffer than others. Also, it will take some time to settle in. Anyone with experience on manufacturer preference?
