Hi

When i have the car started in park the car seems to run ok. And then when I put it in drive or reverse it runs really bad. I think its a vacum leak. I have a 383 chevy with a 350 trans. Any suggestions

check the vacum modulator on the tranny.
and the hose going to it.

More tuning.

Egnie specs, cam particularly?
Torque conveter type / stall speed?

Idle rpm in neutral?
Idle rpm in gear?

Do you have a timing light and a vacuum gauge?

If you do, what's your idle vacuum in neutral?
in gear?
