i have the GMPP350/330 and it comes with the 8" balancer. it has a bolt and washer that is thick and about 1-1/4 in diameter. I purchased a chrome pulley from summit, and the 3 bolt holes line up, but the center hole is only about 3/4" in diameter.

i assume the pulley goes on the outside... right.

i've looked at summit for the single groove pulley with a long water pump, but they all appear to have the small diameter center hole. any ideas or applications i can crossreference to?

the pulley is held on with the 3 bolts right?, i don't take the center bolt and washer out to mount the pulley do i?

The pulley is secured by the three bolts. I belive I have seen a few that also use the crank bolt in the center, but nearly all the ones I've used do not.

?? My lower pulley, the center hole is slightly flanged, it centers in the hole bored in the balancer, then the balancer bolt and washer and the three other bolts, go on. The pulley is original. The balancer bolt washer will not fit thru the hole.

1. Remove the big bolt and washer from the balancer.

2. Install the pulley with the 3 smaller bolts.

3. Install the big bolt and washer.

I cannot remember ever running a stock pulley. Sorry, my stuff is all aftermarket which in most cases do not use the center bolt to hold them on, at least the ones I use.

But I knew I'd seen some that did! ;)

A lot of people just bore the hole bigger.

thanks guys, i'll pull the center bolt and washer out and see if it fits then. the pulley does have a small 'flange' around the center hole on the side that would be touching the balancer.

i'll give it a look tonight.

Thanks again.
