I have a can of plastikote rattle can sandable primer. Is this an epoxy primer? it does not say on the can if it is or not.

it's probably just a laquer primer of some sort, spray primers don't offer much in the form of quality.. so just keep that in mind..

Epoxy is mixed just before spraying, just like you mix epoxy glue just before applying. Epoxy from a can might have epoxy pigment, but that's not the same thing. From a can, most likely, it's lacquer product and not really what you want for a resoration.
