: right motor mounts? motor leans

Here are my Dougs 375Y tri-y headers mounted. I have about an inch of clearance on the drivers side collector and maybe an 1/8 inch on the passenger side collector. I also had a set of Thorley headers on the car and they did the same thing. So I don't think I got 2 sets of incorrectly made headers, or maybe I do!

Here are pics of my motor mounts. I don't remember where I got them, but they are reproduction 69 small block mounts. The stands are original GM.

Do these look right? Any ideas what would cause my motor to have this kind of lean? Should I try a different set of mounts?

Thanks,
Marc

My Hooker Competition headers fit the same way. I have heard this complaint many times. I just "live with it."

I have the Thorleys and they fit the exact same way. I have gm frame mounts and energy suspension engine mounts. I think I even beat on the passenger side a little to make more room. The Thorleys fit much better than the Hooker super comps that I had before...and my upper control arms beat the heck out of.
