Do any of you guys know anything about this type & brand of shifter? Their shifter for the TKO looks like it would rotate around 360 degrees (to fit in the stock Camaro consoles?). Its about $100.00 less than other “off-set” shifters I’ve seen.

If you scroll down to the bottom of their page you'll see the "new" TKO shifter.

Looks to me like the "handle" wouldn't be up out of the floor enough to clear the console.

Looks like too much offset too. For the "direct fit" type offset shifter, the shifter "stub" that the hurst type handle bolts to is like 1" to the left and 1" back. This thing looks like about a 3" offset and the knob part is angled a good amount. After messig around with the wrong shifter handle and console insert before I got the "right" parts, I can tell you that it's pretty darn tight for shifter clearance with the console. You have maybe 1/2" in any direction before you start to touch stuff.....

This shifter looks sorta universal application, depending on what you put it in. You can change the tower to forward or rear position and then the handle position can rotate for you application. I believe its what is under the tower that may count but any short throw would be better than most applications in First Gen cars. I used the stock TKO shifter mounted forward but long stock hurst lever and shift boot, non-console. Still looks stock .
