Looking at replacing the factory Tremec?Hurst shifter on my tKO600 with an upgraded unit that has positive stops and is more suited to drag racing. The few I know of are Pro 5.0, Steeda Triax and McLeod(I believe now made by Hurst....Billet/Plus 2). Anyone have any opinions on these or recommedations for others?

Beuatiful 69 Mark!

FYI for anyone trying locate the Mcleod shifter they do not carry it any more:

Direct from the Mcleod board.........

"We no longer have the slick stix shifters anymore. Hurst took over the slick stix shifters. If Hurst does not have it, then you can contact Driveline Componets and talk to Red Roberts.

I believe it is what Hurst is calling the Billet/Plus 2 but I haven't talked to Hurst yet to confirm. Everyone seems to rave about the Pro50 shifter, the price is reasonable at $165-179. Anyone here on the board using the Pro50?
