I ordered a brake line kit from D&R for my 69 Z28. It was a 2-piece power disc line set. The front had 5 pcs and my car has 4 pcs. I do not have the valve by the power brake booster. :confused:Did all 69 Z28s have the valve?
Thanks

PDB should have 5 lines. Drum brakes used different parts.

The round metering valve was only used on cars with disc brakes.

My car does not have the original master cyl. or the round metering valve on the left side of the brake booster and I did not have any problems at all with the brakes that I can remember. It was that way when I bought it in 78.

What about 4 wheel disc?
JL8 cars didn't use the metering valve, and used a different master cylinder.

You'd probably only notice the difference (not having the metering valve) when driving at low speed in snow.
