Ok guy's heres the deal I have a 1969 standard camaro coupe with a 350.The front end is a little damaged and right now im wanting to buy the best repro parts available.I'm going to install new inner fender wheel wells(one is bent the other has rust).I'm also going to install Fenders and a Radiator support(One fender smashed the other rusted)I don't want to pay the price of NOS parts I don't have the money for them.In your opinions what is the best aftermarket repro company around?I have catalogs from several camaro parts dist.(Rick's,Classic Industries,NPD ect.)I was thinking of going with the parts from Classic Industries because it is closest to my location and I can save on shipping by picking them up myself.Buying repro parts what do I have to look forward to?Also I plan on getting a very expensive paint job on it but with the repro I read that you have to use bondo on them to smooth them. Will I just be wasting my money with the expensive paint job only to have the bondo crack a few years down the road?I want to be able to look down the side of the car and see a perfectly smooth and straight body.Tell me what you think.Sorry about the long rambling. smile.gif

Most all of the suppliers use the same manufacturer for sheet metal parts. The name is Legion and they are stamped in Taiwan. There will usually be some tweaking required on all aftermarket sheetmetal but it is usually nothing a good body man can't handle. If you intend to have a show car finish, your painter will make sure that all sheet metal is arrow straight and to that end, there isn't much difference in what will be required between factory pieces and aftermarket pieces. Check with other people that have used the painter in the past and look at some of his work.
