rocket Oct 17th, 07, 10:01 PM Hi I have a 67 rsss, 350, 4 speed muncie, 9" ford rear end with 411's I would like to put a 5 speed in and get my rpm down on the highway, but keep the 411's. Does anybody know anything about the "Richmond" transmissions Tom I can't say anything good or bad about the Richmond Trannys but I can say that they are rated far below the 600 - 650 ft lb. rating of the Tremecs. I think it's rated at about 450-475 ft-lb However, their new 5 speed overdrive has a (conservative) 600 ft-lb torque rating. | ||
