My Camaro came stock wuth a column shift. I put a new set of Hedman elites on it and now the shift linkage and kickdown linkage come in contact with the header. Bought a new Hurst V- Matic 2 shifter for it and was wondering if they make a kickdown cable for the Powerglide? I've searched the internet and Lokar makes one(the only one I could find), but they say it will not fit my application. This sounds stupid, but what are you guys using for kickdown with headers??? Thanks for your imput!!!

cable is for TH350. Rods and swivel are used for PG. If you are modding the car and putting headers on for better performace, then most people would swap the trans too. If you are racing, then its a manual valve body anyway. You are in a tough place.

Lokar application is for a powerglide, But I think they don't like the idea of me using it with a Hurst shifter. Doesn't make any sense, should just connect to the external kickdown lever on my powerglide, up to the carb, and Bingo. Am I missing something here?( The TH-350 is internal, this one appears to be external.)
