where can i get a 3.73 gear for my 88 iroc 9 bolt rear end ? or is there a beter rear end i can change it to ?

I have heard the original rears are weak in 3rd gens, that is probably why you cant get performance gears for them. And for what it's worth, it's really a 10 bolt gear with a 9 bolt cover... 72Tugboat Oct 23rd, 07, 05:33 AM Most of the later model cars have a pretty deep first gear, 3.73 and higher axle ratios become useless.
