I am planning to replace my upper and lower control arm bushings on my 67. Can the uppers be replaced without special tools? I have a 67 shop manual that is pretty intimidating. It shows special spacers and adapters for a press being used. Can this be done with a bench vise and sockets?

Most major auto supply houses (pep boys, auto zone, napa, checkers, kragen) have a 'TOOL LOANER PROGRAM' where you pay for the cost of the tool and once done you return it for a full refund, no charge! Highly recommend it over the socket/hammer/vise idea
