Another 69 Camaro ended up parking next to me (a nice one too!) -- go figure ;)

I received numerous comments from my buddies, who have all completed sensitivity training. "Hey Doug, its about time you finished that thing". "Its been all summer and thats all you got done?" "I thought you were getting new wheels and tires -- the rest of the car looks good except for that"
Anyway, it was a beautiful day and there were about 200 cars in the lot. I still have a bunch of work to do, but the car is roadworthy and it was great to take it out. Plus I took beer from each of my critics' coolers:beers:

That's funny :D -- my buddies and I all have a good sense of humor and will not miss any opportunity to give each other grief :) if you've got thin skin you wont last too long around my garage --- I like the ralley wheels too, but I still want to get new wheels and tires

Jerome -- thanks -- I remembered the first coat of base and being a little worried, no, make that A LOT worried, that the car was going to be pink :( Even through the mask I could hear my buddy laughing and telling me it was going to be a "girley" car. Glad it turned out the proper red after he sprayed a few more coats of the base color.
Chuck Oct 23rd, 07, 06:09 AM Hope you didn't have too many critics to swipe a beer from before you drove all that hard work home!:beers:

I love drinkin' beer as much as the next guy, but there's no way I would have a whole bunch of them and then go drive that car around. However, I had plenty of room in my cooler to store "critics" beer and when I got home -- well that's a different story :D :beers: :beers: :beers:
