I have been looking at the past forums, but did not find what I need. I am installing a floor shift on my 69. Factory shifter and console. The wiring harness has several wires, but are all loose.
I am guessing that the purple wires are ignition, but where do they connnect on the Neutral safety switch?
Would I need a new harness going to the switch for easier install?
A picture or diagram or past post I can look at?

Thanks Team Camaro.

I realized looking at this that my wires for the backup lights were backwards on the N safety switch. I had the green wire towards the rear most terminal and actually wrote that down on my reassemble notes lol. I dont think they worked so maybe that is why? My car started fine but never had backups. Im putting a new harness in soon so Im glad I saw this post!
