Hi all - just joined. I have a 69 camaro with 355, DartII heads, air perf rpm manifold, roller rockers, solid lifters, and a few other goodies like Doug Thorley Tri-Y Headers that push exhaust out through Flowmasters. I have installed a 78 Lincoln Versailles 9" with 3.50 gears with their stock disc brakes. I went through a few of the older threads here on the site. I need a recommendation for a master cylinder (mc). I have a 4 wheel disc brake mc; however, I used the stock proportioning valve. What should i change tomc and proportioning valve to? I am not getting sufficient pressure in the back. Just read an interesting "article" in car craft (Dec 2007 issue) indicating diameter of pistons plays a big role. Unfortunately they do not provide a method to piece together a solution. BTW this rear end is a bolt on (just about). They are just rare now and the brakes are clunky at best.

Thom...

You may want to try an adjustable prop valve. Just try Google search and type adjustable prop valve in.
