Hey isnt that your daughter in the one pic? The photo name is 'wife', maybe a mistype? hehe
Hey the first folder in your site has dead link photos in it, none of those came up for me. The rest of the folders and pics worked fine.

Cruise Master, The website with your resto pic is great (Thanks for posting it) and I will be refering to it from time to time because I am replacing my floor with a complete floor and can answer questions with some of your pics. Thanks again. graemlins/beers.gif

Agreed, very nice pictures! I have been building my own web page with some similar pics. Hopefully it will be up in the near future.

HEY CLICK! My wife read your post. Shame on you.... yes she really is my wife. HEHE. I look just as young too. By the way everyone, I have never in my life replaced a floor or trunk pan. This is my very first time. But, since I am retired military and my sheetmetal (or tin bending as we call it) skills have been sharpened to a fine edge, I am comfortable in doing what I am doing. The welding is the easy part. It is the test fitting, over and over that makes it worth while. Just as MartinSR has said in many of his post, that you can never test fit a panel or assembly too many times. I can personally vouch for that. I would like to credit MartinSR with his wisdom on many post. He is a great deal of help. I would like to do the same. Even using my aircraft skills on my project. By the way, some pictures I haven't posted are the rear frame rails. I have them installed now too attached to the trunk and floor pan. I will take pics of those soon to show and even post some measurements that I have found that make installation easier. Not that the ones I found are not enough, but there are some references that I would like to make for installation of those pans. Thanks all for the kind words. Click, which directory didn't work? I will fix that right away once I know which one.

"Before Pictures" directory is the one that doesnt work. I get a ? in front of each photo name instead of jpg and when you click on the link I get a page of hyrogliphics instead of a photo. Im useing Netscape 7.01
Now when I use Internet Explorer they come up fine. Not sure why Netscape is fussy on that folder alone, as the other ones work fine in Netscape too.
One thing I noticed, on the "Before" pics, each photo name doesnt end with .jpg at all. The other pics in the other folders all end with .jpg like they should.
Maybe if you add the .jpg to the pics in that folder then Netscape will recognize it?
Great documentation you have going on that car, WOW. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Jim, I get the same thing in that one folder, but they open and view just fine using IE. You're right about them not having the .JPG extension.

Scot, you've done some serious work on that thing since January! I would have been buried in mine like that if the floors hadn't already been replaced when I bought it. I don't envy you there! graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Nice work Scot... can't wait to see the finished product!

Ok guys. That folder is now fixed. The pics can be viewed in Netscape, and IE. I have more pics that I just found on the hard drive. I will post them soon. Thanks Joe and Click for wringing out my web folders.

cruisemaster, first great job!. Your lucky to be able to work outdoors. Dumb question did you fabricate the replacement steel for the tulip repair? I have the same problem but lack the essential skills you have for sheet metal and if I could find one to purchase I would.

Thanks for the compliment. Being in northern Nevada, its nice to have great weather. Dry too. Tulip panel? Are you talking about the cowl side panel? I haven't finished it yet, but I took it from my California donor car that I picked up 2 months ago. I cut the pieces and formed them to match my cars panel. As soon as they are welded, you won't be able to tell it was rusted at all. There are companies that repro that tulip panel. 100% complete too. All you would have to do is find ways to weld it to the cowl and firewall. Some of the welds are inside the panel itself. Because it isn't structural, I would probably use body panel adhesive in areas that I couldn't get to. Check around for that tulip panel. Hey, if you ever need help or advice, this is the place to get it.
