Who makes the best quality/fit replacement carpets?

I just got my 2nd carpet from ACC. The 1st was an original style loop carpet. I'm now redoing my whole interior, I custom ordered a cut pile style carpet. Similar to the 4th Gen cars, but molded to fit the 67. I haven't laid it down yet, but the first carpet I had was a great fit. :beers:

Any chance you have side by side pics of the OE-style loop and the cut pile side by side? I've been trying to decide, but have never seen a cut pile in a 1st gen, so I'm wondering how it looks compared to the loop. I guess it's kinda silly...I have the pile in my Silverado, but my 69 hasn't had carpet and I almost forget what the loop looks like.

I recently bought through Rick's what was advertised as the Raylon loop, believe it had the Trim Parts logo next to it. Would have to double check to be sure.

The box had a silouhette of a car with "Automotive Carpet", and that was it. No TP or ACC mention/logo. Whatever it actually was, looked and fit pretty well, no complaints.

I love reading threads that immediately apply to me as well. I am picking up my carpet from Summit today (mine is faded) and was trying to decide which - cut or loop

Eric - which are you installing?

The wife and I agree cut is going in ours.

Man, I can't decide yet. Pile is nice, but I may have to see it in a 1st gen before I can commit.

Jason - what are the grommets on the pile carpet for? Is that the dimmer grommet?

Yup, for the dimmer. I haven't laid the carpet in the car yet, but I can tell already it's gonna look great!
