CMC, the floor I purcgaced is a (Complete Floor) no slit in the middle, one piece! I think I need to take the seat brace and the cage nut off the original pan and just install the top of the original seat pan to the new floor and the new exsisting seat brace and cage nut!

For the life of me I can not get the picture in a post thing. Sorry all. If some one would run it through with me like I just got my computer I would be much abliged.

Johnny, if you have the one piece floor, you have the new brace on it already. Take the seat pan and fit it to the new floor once your floor is installed in the car. Do this first, then you will see how well the seat pan fits. If you try to install the seat pan on the new floor without it welded in the car, it will be a real bear to align things to the rockers. I have found, when I installed my new floor, that there was quite a bit of forming to the rockers and firewall. Same thing if you were to install a new trunk pan. I found that its best to remove both frame rails and reinstall them once the trunk pan is fitted. Using sheetmetal screws to hold things together till you have it tack welded in place. By the way, this is the way that I installed the new pans. Maybe someone else used a different way, but this way worked best for me.

Johnny,

I don't think MSN allows direct linking to pictures. You won't be able to show us anything but links. A quick search over in the Test Drive! forum would give you suggestions and tips.

Try using PhotoBucket (http://www.photobucket.com), as they allow direct linking to your pics. Or use this space provided to us by a fellow TC member.... BartonekRacing (http://www.bartonekdragracing.com/upload.php)

Your web site is MSN Groups.
You connect to your MSN photo album through SBC.

Call your provider (SBC) and ask them how much free web space you are allowed to use. They can tell you how to transfer (FTP) your pictures there and then you can direct link to them, and have them show as pics in your posts.

CMC, I finally figured out (With the help of many on the website including you) how to show you the pics of my seat pan as it came off the old floor with the brace and pan attached.
