Guys - Would a 3rd week January 69 (913) be a nice date for a carburetor to go on a 4th week of March '69 built car? The motor has a date stamp of March 7 on it. That date on the carb puts it 8 or 9 weeks out. I'm think that is a good date match on a correct numbers matching part for my car. It's not a cheap part ... so I wanted to confirm my thinking with the guys that know better.

I've got an 841 on my 0506 engine. I passed on a 833. John Z says they will accept up to 6 months on Corvettes, but to me the closer the better. If they are tough to find I would go for the one you have.

My Firebird has a Jan. 9 date. The car is a first week of March. I would say you are fine.
