Has anyone ever encountered difficulty in removing the ignition switch on a 68. I'm trying to replace the bezel & I can't seem to get the nut past the face plate where the key goes in, Does the tiny hole next to the keyhole have anything to do with it. Please offer suggestions before I break out the big hammer!

Insert key into ignition switch and put switch in the acceccory position. Insert a Paper Clip in the tiny round hole and press in. Turn key counter clockwise while pressing on paper clip inserted into tiny round hole. The ignition switch will come out.

CnC,
many thanks. Your suggestion did the trick (no hammering required!). New bezels look sweet! http://www.camaros.net/forums/images/icons/icon6.gif
