are 68 convert floors the same as 68 hardtop?

The pans themselves are the same, but there are a few extra braces welded on. The biggest is a welded X that runs under the seat area from rocker to rocker and up under the tunnel. Do a search in the convertible forum for "floor" or "brace"; there's a lot of info and pictures here.

Yes the floor braces are a major difference. The current Dii 1-piece floor is great and very complete in terms of punchouts, brackets, anchors and pilot holes. The rag rockers are also totally different and not repro'd yet.

The 69 rag rockers are being reproduced,you might be able to make them work allthough I dont know if they are the same as 68 but maybe worth it to find out.
