I am looking at a 69 camaro at Flemings ultimate garage. Has anyone had dealings with them. Also any thoughts on the orange r/s s/s they have for sale.

what kind of documentation do they have to back it up? Ask for pics of trim tag and paperwork.
40K is hi IMHO for an undoc'd car....
IM NO PRO. but I would like to have documatation and evidence of the RS/SS package...

In the description it states "great driving reproduction". I may be wrong, but this statement would lead me to believe they are telling you it's a clone, without actully saying the word "clone". JMO

I called on this car a week ago. Last week it had Z-28 emblems on it and he was calling it a Z-28 with RS package and SS trim.(Look at the video) I was really confused. He always states the the stripes on his cars are correct SS stripes- when they are really Z-28 stripes. I have looked at a lot of his cars on the web any they seem to have too much of a story to go with them. I would really research the car and go look at it
with someone who knows Camaros if you are not sure. Would not buy with out seeing first. Most likely not a real 4-speed car. Buyer beware on this one.

Still has the Z/28 emblem on the pic with the trunk lid open....

Doesn't have the windshield washer bottle on the inner fender, and no evidence of the vacuum tank, so it's likely not a "real" RS and the headlight covers are probably manual.

The brakes are missing the holdoff valve next to the MC, and I see an adjustable pro valve, so it's probably not an original disc brake car.

I love the seats...nothing a cheap pair of adjustment bumpers wouldn't fix, but Holy Recliners Batman!

With the prices coming down like they are, I wouldn't even waste a phone call on that car unless it was priced in the mid $20Ks or lower.

Brian,

Yep, IMHO this clone is over priced for today's market---- would likely only sell to the uninformed. (Hope you are still glad you checked in with us first)! Just imagine trying to sell this car yourself with full disclosure and you won't come anywhere near that price. It looks fantastic and someone has put a lot of time and $ into it. If it is a real/working RS, I would give it mid to upper $20's MAX and mid to low 20's if it is just a plain jane car. Charlie 69 RS

ps: it will be interesting to see the values at BJ come January!

Hi Brian,

I don't live too far from there and I'd suggest if you're really interested you should have someone knowledgeable check the car out.....if you know what I mean. ;)

After talking to them you are still interested I can go look at it for you and let you know what's real, not real, correct or incorrect. PM or e-mail me.
