: are 69 spindles right & left specific?

i got my spindles mixed up and cant tell which one goes where. they look the same to me. so are the side specific and which goes where?

For wear & match-up reasons I'd try to keep them on the same side, but I don't believe there is a L & R. I think you're fine whichever way you use them.

No, they fit either side.
Make sure the caliper is to the rear of the spindle on each side and the bleeder screw points up.

Some calipers from front mounted cars like early 70's Monte Carlo use the calipers in front of the spindle and the calipers are marked LH and RH. Those must be swapped side for side when used on a first gen, or the bleeder screws will point down.

thanks. I am swaping to ls1 brakes and more so i have my work cut out for me :)
