OK...those crafty GM engineers seem to have hosed me again. Is their any trick to getting the lower left bolt off the fuse box? I can't get a socket around it (no clearance) and to that same vain I can put a wrench on it either. Replacing the dash harness and need to remove the fuse block which is the last piece of the puzzle.

I just checked my original 68 fuse box and my AAW box that I replaced it with and they both have plenty of room to get a 1/4" drive socket on the bolt. I had mine apart a couple of weeks ago and thats what I used , 5/16 socket I believe .

That is my fear....I've got zero room to get a socket on it....even a thin walled socket. Guess it will be me vs the fuse box....hopefully I will win :)
