The fan should be galvanized.

Don't know for sure about the pulley. I got mine at a swap meet, and it's gold cad. I always thought gold was incorrect, and that the originals were silver cad, but there was some discussion either here or Yenko.net that gold cad may be correct. I've lost track of that thread, so I don't know for sure.
