I can pull my headlight switch on the parking lights and they work fine .. when I pull the headlight switch the parking lights go off .. They still work if I put the blinker .. but they dont stay on .. is that correct. I have the RS option if it makes any sense. Plus only when I have my blinker on .. do my volts on the meter start to jump back and forth .. what do you think .. any input ?

hmmm, checked again, and they do stay on on my 68.
Maybe they do different things week to week?

Side markers came in in 68.

How hard would it be to rewire a 67 to have the parking lights on with the headlights? different light switch?

Easyway? get a 2 amp or better diode from radio shack, connect between low beam headlight wire and parking light wire.

Hard way? Put in a 68 headlight switch. The switch will physically fit in the dash. You can probably use the 67 shaft so the knob matches. No clue if the connector is the same.

I cant believe I did'nt post the Year .... :sad: .... The light in question was for my 67 camaro .

I did'nt know about the Gov thing for the 68 and up Models.. .I love this place.. learn something new everyday !!!:thumbsup:
