Video was made by one of my buds from the Heads Up NW group. A few went to Vegas to watch and or compete.

This is the Wild Street class. In real simple terms.....stock frame rail cars, 1 power adder, on 275 drag radials.

In this vid, my freind is in the white KKP Mustang. Middle of the pack, 289 twin turbo (This is what I get to race against)

This is awesome stuff......just watch, and note the ET's in the final.

Some very cool Camaros, Novas and Chevelles in the mix.

I feel like a punk now! ;-)

Sweet huh Ron? I actually posted this vid already, after he posted it on YB. Our buddy Eric raced this class, he's got the blue 69 'bird, these guys cars are amazing. As tough as our class (outlaw 10.5) and pro street have become, I think wild street may be the toughest, 7.90's on 275/60-15's? Thats just crazy....:yes:
Did you see the other videos he has of some of the other races? I posted Pappas' 69 Camaro and Glidden's race, and Samuel and Moran's race yesterday, those were a couple that really stood out, just bad a@@!

I watched most of the videos from Scott. But I have to do it at work....I have dial up here.

I'm most impressed with wild street. Our true street class mimics it pretty close. Minus all the weight breaks.
Of course I loved the Novas....I believe at least one ran an 8.0 something.

I wish Scott would have videoed the whole elims.....

I know who Eric Peterson is. He brought the Bird to PIR.....and all it did was blow the tires off. No comparrison in the track preps.

I have to go next year if even to watch. And I'd like to set a goal of an 8.99 from my car next year....I'll need a nitrous controller and a bunch more bottle!

I'm flat impressed.

Yeah, Eric does that occasionally :D but he's getting it dialed in.
Next year If we are not there racing again with the Elky, I'm going to be P/O'd :D The place is just amazing, what a blast!
