In a recent thread, there was a "secondary" request to name the intake. Well, since I'm replacing the piecemeal carb...here's a better pic. Some thoguht it was a 90's Performer? What kind of Edelbrock intake is it, and is it considered a decent intake?

I remember this manifold well, but I'll be darned if I can remember the name. It was a Rochester quadrajet manifold that was one step below the Torquer. I had on on my 327 Vega (back in the day-1976). It even has the vacuum (smog-junk) plate on the side. It was good off the line to 4500 rpm dual plane manifold.

Its a #2101 performer looks like. I polished one by hand long time ago; I remember every curve well. :)

spread bore edelbrock performer RPM. come out in the late 80's early 90's. I bought one for my stroker when I was in high school. I like the intake and the air gap is loosely based on it....

Thanks, guys. It's just one of those things when you buy a car and someone else did all of the engine work on it, and you're not quite sure what you've got....when you know little to nothing about engines etc... Thanks again.

It's the middle years Performer, NOT the 1st years early 2101 b/c I have onna them on my 406!

Might even be a last years newer Performer, I haven't really looked close enough at them to know the little differences in them ALL yet.. Much less the ESP jobbers too...

The 1st years 2101 will have a divot outta the runner back by the dizzy for rotational clearance.

But it sure ain't an SP-2P 4-barrrel intake of old! And I got onna them up on the shelf out in the garage.
