AFTER INSTALLING 2" DROP SPRINGS ON THE FRONT, MY 67 RS IS NOW SQUATING SLIGHTLY ON THE REAR LH SIDE. I DID NOT NOTICE THIS BEFORE THE SWAP BUT I HAVE READ AN ARTICLE IN THE PAST ABOUT 1st Gen's HAVING THIS PROBLEM. JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS TACKLED THIS AND FOUND A FIX. ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT.

I had a similar issue. Found that my right front spring wasn't seated correctly in the spring pocket causing it to sit high and push LH rear down.

I've had this for quite sometime on my car also. I'm going to measure the front tonight and see if that is part of the problem. I installed new front lowering springs when I initially rebuilt it.

A quick and dirty (incorrect) way to fix it is to shim the opposite side sway bar connection so that it pushes the other side up a hair. This worked on mine until I got ambitious enough to reseat the spring.

I had to fix my '67 b/c it "clicked and clacked" until I reseated it after doing a b/j rebuild!! Pass. side coil..
NOT fun at all!
And our FULLY optioned ORDERED '75 Monza 2+2 came w/ the drivers side front spring NOT seated right and it took a 3rd try, screaming at the Shop Foreman to get them to reseat her RIGHT!! Suckers were squirting oil on the spring!!!!
He finally did his job after I flat f-- told him to sidestep to call the ZONE REP's office!!
And I told my HS classmate Buddy that was their Parts Guy to watch them and tell me if they fixed the f-- thing proper and he did later when I went to pick it up!!
AND I did appologize to the SF for getting bent out of shape and he "sheepishly" accepted!! Knowing full well he was in the wrong trying to BS a CUSTOMER that KNEW what he was talking about!!
Never bought another car off them!!
