My carpet kit should be here tomorrow. The weather here seems to have turned toward winter. That means my rear sway bar, carpet with deadener, and trunk mounted battery project is about to begin.

In looking in my trunk and below it, there seems to be quite a bit of room. The advice I am looking for is twofold - 1) What kits did you guys use, and 2) Where EXACTLY did you mount the box or tray.

I need to know which kit to buy, and where to mount it. The trunk framework allows either a 9" tall box back into the wheelwell, or up to a 12" box outside of the trunk/quarterpanel (away from the wheelwell and directly under the trunk lid, so to speak). I really don't want to re-create the wheel if I can help it. Also, did you accomplish this task with the tank in? It doesn't look like I need to address the tank at all, but I would like to be safe so I am asking.

I am still trying to decide if I want to use the bulkhead hookup, or just bracket the cable toward the starter. I will be running the cable into the interior of the car. I am hoping that this will be one and done with the deadener, carpet, rear sway, and trunk mount battery.
