A friend called me today and asked if I was interested in a 68 Shell only... he found someone that has one that wants to sell it. I have no idea what ir could be worth. I understand it's all a matter of condition... just trying to get a ballpark.
Resto-Wreck = ?
Fair Cond / Needs some panel / pan replacement = ?
Good Cond - Little to no panel replacement + little body work to be done = ?

68 shell only won't be worth much. Few grand if solid.

yeah...2K tops...I gave 500 bucks for a BB 68 4Speed in GREAT shape..and it needed fenders...

It was just something that came my way. Thought it might make a good lawn ornament or, if it's a 57/57, find a couple of trees to string it up with in the back. If not then maybe something to turn to help feed my habit :D

If it helps any, I purchased a full body 68 roller (no engine, trans, good subframe, very little interior) 4 months ago for $3.5k. A little wheel well rot and bad door skins.
I'll end up replacing the rear 1/4's, tail panel, outer wheel houses, and doors.
