hi, can you tell me how and what i need to convert my stock single point 69 distributor to hei? i want the old look but the new reliability. any info would be great thanks

Pertronix, Accell, and I think Mallory make kits to convert to electronic.

The conversion is incredibly easy.

Mark the position of the distributor if you remove it. Search TC to see what brand people recommend. I installed Pertronix and am satisfied with it...others have used different set-ups and are happy with them.

And I agree with wanting to keep the old look. The problem with HEI on first gens is that the firewall is probably too close. Lots of guys have had to dent the wall. I just installed a new MSD. Just like original except it's electronic.
