I have a 12 bolt rear in my 69 Camaro that is marked
BV 0505 E
I guess that is a 4.10 Eaton Posi rear..
What do you guys think it is worth?

Skeeter -
The BV rears have been discussed here, but since you can't just search "BV" (too short), I'll give you what i know, and then I'll try to find some of the previous discussions.
looking at the 69 MY "Camaro Power Teams (Optional Engines)" chart I have, dated 1 April 69, the 4.10:1 ratio was:
- the "performance" optional ratio for the 69 M20, M21, and M22 equipped Z28 cars;
- a "special" ratio available in 69 L78/L89 cars, for M20, M21, M22, and TH400 equipped cars;
- a "special" ratio available in 69 L34 (396/350) cars, for M21 and TH400 equipped cars; and
- a "special" ratio available in 69 L48 (350/300) cars, for M20 equipped cars.
I checked the 68 MY Power Team Chart, dated 22 April 68, and found the same applications.
The 68 and 69 Nova also used a "BV" coded 12-bolt, also a 4.10:1 posi.
So, I would think value depends on which model year it "belongs" in, based on the casting number and casting date on the center section. I haven't looked at the numbers, but my feeling is that if it was a 68 MY rear, it might be worth more (less of those cars than in 69 MY).
Let me check around and see what I can run down on recent sale prices. Post back the casting number and casting date.

Very very desirable rear.I found a untouched 68 BV 410 with a June 68 date code and would never part with this little gem!!:noway:
