My name is John, I have a '68 that I've owned for about 6 years. I bought it for my wife who always wanted one and I was ready to try a complete restoration. I found the car all dismantled in a friends barn, on the second floor. I've been working on it slowly but I finally decided to just go for it and see if I can get it back on the road for its 40th anniversary. It hasn't seen pavement for at least 20 years.
The body is rust free and real solid, I just purchased a 327 with Powerglide, it had about 75,000 miles on it and ran well so I thought it would be OK for now.
I joined this site like most others, I'll be looking for some guidance as I scramble to piece this together. Thanks in advance to all who choose to help. I'll post some pics if you tell me how!
