How do you remove and replace the outer window ledge reveal moldings on a 1968?

Question:
I know this option was part of the rally sport package, how difficult would it be to add the bright reveal moulding to a '68 that didn't come originaly with this option? I think it 'sets' off the
Camaro equipped with this option really nice, even on the non RS Camaros.

thanks

pg- There are 4 screws per door molding. You will probably have to drop the door glass to get to the center ones.

JoeB- The chrome molding was part of an exterior trim package, and was available on any car, not just the RS. Simple enough to add it, the holes for the screws may even be pre-drilled.

Hi All:
I was thinking of adding these moldings to my '68. However, I have a convertible. If I'm not mistaken, the back peices (not the ones on the door) are shorter on the convertibles?? Can a set off a coupe be cut to fit a convertible???

No. Not really. The convertible used a different molding around the back that the top boot clips onto. The convertible quarter ledge moldings slip into these.
Beware of the repro moldings. They do not look real good. They are real wavey looking.
