You have got to be kidding me. $250 for an old shift ball. I have one in my attic that needs replating that is also an original knob. I need to gather up my old 1969 parts and get rich quick.

I bet there are a lot of them around in boxes of old parts.
I have 2. One is for 69 other is for 67-68.

I like to keep original parts to compare to repops.

they are never exactly the same

I got an NOS black shifter ball for non-console on eBay a couple of years ago, for $45. Still have the repop on the shifter....maybe I should sell the NOS one :)

I think it was the six poses of the ball that sold it...black background, ball poses with fingers, ball on bubblewrap, left side, right side...blah blah...

I only paid $120 for mine from HBC...guess I got a bargain, but its for a 67 so really just half a ball. It was polished too...

I have never seen one of the original 69 chrome shift balls sell on ebay for less tht 250.00 . I rarely see them show up anymore. They are are hard to come by
