Not looking to buy but what do you guys think this car is worth. The car needs a lot of work in pretty rough condition. The seller has no feedback yet dosent look like a scam but you never know these days.

Looks like the rockers are compromised too. Not enough info in auction to be sure about matching numbers.

The sad thing is I don't think this one can be saved!
It looks like a forced re-body project!!

Classic!!!

I had a friend back in high school with a 67 Mustang Fastback that actually bent one day when both doors were opened in his driveway. This was probably around 1978 or 79, we both graduated in 76. Couldn't get the passenger side door reclosed after that. To bad it was a nice car (for a mustang). But there was an upside to it, he, I and another friend in town all ended up having AAR cudas at the same time.

Why do you think it can't be saved, if I could buy resonable, I could save it, be alot of aftermarket pieces but it can definitly be saved

Almost anything can be saved, but at what cost? If you can do the bodywork, you may not get upside down in it, but if you farm out the work, the finished product would probably be worth less than the cost to do it.

If you are seriously interested, go look at it, or send someone you trust, BEFORE you bid. I have a feeling it will still be available after the auction closes.

Talked to them before put on ebay, they thought it was worth 27,000, I told them they were smoking dope, if it was resonable priced I would have bought then

You can probably find one in much better shape for that kind of money!

When I was looking for a Pace Car, I looked at one in Nashville that was a mess. The guy wanted $8,000 for it with no motor or tranny, and lots of rust. I also looked at an older resto in Nashville, for I think $12-13, and it was a whole lot better deal. But, I didn't buy either. That was 8-9 years ago, so prices have changed a lot, but my point is "asking ain't gettin"
