:mad: i have figured out why i cannot get the banjo bolts on my brake calipers to stop leaking, all the power coating is commong off by where the washer sits..this is BAD...so i figure i will scrape off the rest with a pick and reinstall the hoses for the third time:( has anybody had this issue????

All paint should be removed from the clamping area to get a good seal.I would recommend new compression washers each time brake lines are removed as well so leaks wont develope in the future and ruin the rest of the finish, let alone for safety...............

When ever you P/C any machined surface (like your banjo fittings area) that has a critical fit you will have to crap it off or mask it off first before you P/C it. You will also have to do the same thing on any bearing surface too (I do a little P/C’ ing at home). Have you ever watched American Chopper? The guys at OCC are always scrapping the stuff off when there stuff comes back from the P/C shop.
