My car has sat for about a month nothing changed and it ran fine the last time I fired it up. I went to go start it yesterday after I charged the battery and it won't fire, it spins freely until I pump the gas to get fuel in there and it will slow down alot send a pop out of the carb, then it will speed up like its going to start and nothing. since then I have taken the dizzy out 3 times to reset timing I install it at 10*BTDC (the dizzy is locked out) after each time I'll try to start the car and it does the same thing. I also verified I had spark going to each cylinder, I tested the coil and the msd box. I know for sure it's getting fuel. I'm hoping the timing chain did'nt skip a tooth. thanks for any ideas.

Pull the spark plugs and let her sit overnight.Sounds like she is flooded.no sense cranking further at this point.let her dry out overnight.
