Anyone have a how-to on this? The previous owner did a backyard minitub with some strips of steel and a welder and i can currently get a 275/60 R-15 in there. If I do this I should be able to get alot more wheel and tire in my wheel well. Any info would be great, thanks....

Do you weld? Have a welder? If so it's really not hard and they even sell kits now. You will install a length of tubing between your frame rails, weld upper shock mouts to that and attach new lower shock mounts to the rear end. Bolt up a pair of shocks and you're on the road. I have done it several times, it's not hard. You will probably want to remove the gas tank if you still have it in the original location.
