80% of Baldwin Chevrolets products sold were mail order. Very few cars were built at the dealership (probably more than Nickey, but less than Yenko). They relied upon their trade mark side pipes (Corvette chambered exhaust) and a fiberglass hood with the L-88 Corvette style scoop to identify their product. The L-88 crate motor was installed in place of whatever was in the customers engine bay (Don Yenko started out by ordering 375 horse 396 equipped cars and installing a 425 horse short block in it s place before they discovered how much money they could make by ordering a COPO and letting the factory do all the work). In the engine bay they used a custom made CalCustom style ribbed valve cover with Motion cast in raised letters.

Motion Performance cars are not all the same but many had the MP decal on the rear side windows and under the hood

My 68 L78 has Motion stickers on the quarter windows. It was ordered L78 M22 and 4.56 out of St. Louis. The motor was gone so I dont know what type of Motion products if any where used on the car? I was told at SYC the stickers could be had with a simple subscription to the catalog and didn't require a short block purchase etc. Anybody know for sure if the stickers were off the shelf or required certain performance options to be obtained? The body of the car is 14K original miles, original paint and interior with docs.

Motion sold all kinds of parts including engine, suspension, body, interior etc.

They even sold MP Products (Motion) washers
