I have a new raduis rod for my early 67rs. These were GM's fix for wheel hop. Does anyone have any experience with this? ?Proper placement for bracket on axle. I know the bracket goes on the right hand side of the axle, exact dimensions would be appreciated.

IC - I have the GM specs for installing a radius rod at work. I will post them tomorrow morning unless someone beats me to it.

thanks. Will this alleviate wheel hop or should I still invest in a set of slappers?

IC - I sent you an Email with the information on adding a radius rod. This will help with the wheel hop but it does not cure it. It was only a temporary fix until GM could put multi-leaf springs on in 68. If you are considering adding traction bars you may want to forget the radius rod and just go with a good set of traction bars. If you want to get fancy look at a set of Caltracks or slide a links. Do a search on traction and you will get lots of good information.

You will need slappers too if you plan on spinning the tires
